Newhall Coffee for a Cause
Mitch McMullen lost his older brother, Corey, to leukemia. And since then, it’s been his mission to use his Newhall Coffee Roasting Company business to serve his community.
Leukemia is a cause close to his heart. And through that passion arose the Newhall Coffee for a Cause program.
The program, which launches July 4th is McMullen’s brain child and launched in order to redirect money away from Wall Street back to Main Street.
Through the program, cause organizations partner with Newhall Coffee to sell unique, custom-branded coffee blends to raise money for their organization. There is absolutely zero cost to the organization — completely win/win.
For every bag of 12 oz coffee they sell, between $3-6 is automatically donated to the organization.
In a dire economy, McMullen has refocused his efforts — not towards revenue-only activities — but on his roots, his community.
It’s not difficult to see Mitch’s passion for what he does. If only people nationwide could benefit from this program, amazing, shop local things could happen.
